Quincy Police Department informational beat meeting set for Thursday in Quincy Town Center

QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department will hold an informational beat meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, at the QPD sub-post by Zales in the Quincy Town Center.

The purpose of this town hall meeting is to address questions and concerns in Beat 2, which includes residents and businesses north of Broadway and east of 18th Street. This meeting will only address Beat 2, but anyone is welcome to attend.

Chief of Police Adam Yates, Deputy Chief Mike Tyler and Deputy Chief Travis Wiemelt will lead the meeting and address issues and concerns of those attending. The officers who work Beat 2 will be available.

Additional beat meetings will be scheduled in the upcoming months.
