Quincy woman arrested with large amounts of guns and grass

QUINCY — Quincy Police arrested a woman on the city’s south side Wednesday night when they discovered a large quantity of cannabis, firearms and ammunition.

At 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Police arrested Daeshawna Stanbridge, 24, at her 1130 Adams residence. During the search officers found copious amounts of contraband.

Stanbridge was taken to the Adams County Jail pending a detention hearing. She faces charges of unlawful possession of a handgun, not having a FOID card, unlawful possession of ammunition and delivery of 500-2000 grams of cannabis.

Quincy Police report the investigation is ongoing and other arrests are possible. QPD’s Special Investigations Unit and the West Central Illinois Task Force also assisted.
