Registrations taken for Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce Dogwood Parade on May 4
QUINCY — The annual Dogwood Parade is set to return at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, with this year’s theme being “May the Fourth Be With You: Celebrating the Power of Community.”
Businesses and organizations are invited to display their pride in Quincy during the parade.
Several events are lined up to precede the parade such as the Little King and Queen contest presented by Arts Quincy, the Ultimate Brick Show (Lego Masters) on May 4-5 and the Dogwood Festival on the lawn of The Lorenzo Bull House after the parade.
In a press release, Bruce Guthrie, president and CEO of the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce, said, “We are delighted to once again take the lead in bringing the community together for the annual Dogwood Festival Parade. This event has become a cherished tradition, celebrating the vibrancy and unity of our town,”
Registration for the parade is open now. Prices are $80 for businesses, $40 for non-profits and $250 for Dogwood Investors. To sign up, visit www.quincychamber.org/Events.
