Rushville man arrested for possession of multiple narcotics in Versailles home

VERSAILLES, Ill. — A Rushville man is in the Schuyler County Jail after multiple illegal narcotics were found when deputies from the Brown County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at 101 S. Chestnut on Monday, March 10. 

A drug investigation was initiated by the West Central Illinois Task Force upon receiving information of possible illegal activity taking place at that residence.  After an initial investigation and reports, the Brown County Sheriff’s Department, with assistance from Brown County State’s Attorney Michael Hill, applied for and secured a search warrant on Monday.  The sheriff’s department and members from the West Central Illinois Task Force executed the search warrant late Monday afternoon.

Arrested was Jack O. Flachs, 23. A female from the residence was released at the scene pending criminal charges.

Task force agents recovered the following suspected illegal narcotics from the residence.

  • THC raw Cannabis 5304 grams (11.69 pounds)
  • THC wax 41,978 grams (92 pounds)
  • THC vapes 17,845 grams (39 pounds)
  • Psilocybin Mushrooms 4,282 grams (9.4 pounds)
  • Psilocybin powder 591 grams (1.3 pounds)
  • THC edibles 11,948 grams (26.3 pounds)

Agents also seized approximately $18,600, two firearms, a 2019 GMC Arcadia, drug paraphernalia and drug packaging equipment.

Drew Schnack is representing Flachs, who is scheduled to be arraigned on April 7.
