Shaffer recognized as local Realtor of the Year, recognized during state banquet in Springfield

QUINCY — Carol Shaffer, designated managing broker for Bower & Associates Inc., recently named Realtor of the Year by the Quincy Association of Realtors, also received special recognition during a state banquet in April.

The annual Realtor of the Year Banquet was held April 9 at the President Abraham Lincoln DoubleTree Hotel in Springfield and sponsored by Illinois Realtors in support of the Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation.

The banquet honored 21 local award recipients and the 2024 Illinois Realtor of the Year Ayn Bartok of Harrisburg. Shaffer, who is president of the Quincy Association of Realtors, received a special award from the state association during the ceremony.

Proceeds for the banquet benefit the work of the Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation, a not-for-profit organization which promotes research and academic advancement in real estate subjects through a series of grants and scholarships. Learn more at www.ilreef.org.
