Soup fundraiser for United Way, lunch with mayor set for Nov. 17 in City Council chambers

QUINCY — City Hall will be the host of a soup fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 17 in City Council chambers. This event is open to the public. Chili and chicken noodle soup will be provided by the bowl, along with a side of cornbread, for a free will donation. All donations will benefit the United Way of Adams County. 

Mayor Mike Troup will be the host of his second “Lunch with the Mayor” from noon to 1 p.m. on the same day. Guest speaker Jenna Hull from the United Way will make a presentation about current events in the organization. Afterward, the mayor will discuss current issues and offer a Q&A session.
