QUINCY — St. Peter School, 2500 Maine, recently held a dedication ceremony for the Wilhelm Johnson Scholz STEM lab. The lab was designed to foster an interest for science, technology, engineering and mathematics for students in grades K-8.

The STEM lab allows students to have hands-on experiences that will allow them to use the four academic areas to investigate and solve problems. The lab has been created to help the school meet more of the learning needs of its students.

The dedication ceremony involved the recognition of donors who made the lab possible, the blessing of the lab, student and teacher testimonials, a showcase of student STEM creations and a tour of the lab.
