Multiple arrests made following armed robbery at trailer park

QUINCY — Adams County Sheriff Department’s deputies made an early morning arrest Monday following an investigation into an incident east of Quincy.

Deputies responded to an armed robbery call on Sunday night at the Timber Ridge Mobile Home Park in the 7200 block of State, where they conducted interviews and identified numerous suspects.

Just after midnight on Monday morning, deputies located the vehicle believed to have been used in the commission of the robbery during a traffic stop at Ninth and Broadway. Four people were taken into custody, and three were charged.

A 15-year-old juvenile male was arrested on charges of armed robbery, mob action and armed violence, along with felony charges from a separate incident involving the Quincy Police Department. He is lodged in the Adams County Juvenile Detention Center.

Christian L. Sparrow, 21, and Samantha A. Kindhart, 18, both of Quincy, also were lodged and charged with armed robbery, mob action and harboring a runaway.

The investigation is ongoing. Additional arrests are expected.
