Three taken to Blessing Hospital after two-vehicle crash near Loraine Wednesday morning

LORAINE, Ill. — The drivers of two vehicles were injured in a crash Wednesday morning near Loraine.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Department, Adams County EMS and Loraine Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Illinois Route 336 and Illinois Route 61. A 2016 Kia Forte driven by Amy Bottorff, 45, of Loraine was traveling north on Illinois Route 336 when a 2020 Buick Envision driven by Mary Robeson, 83, of Quincy failed to yield and struck the Forte.

Both vehicles sustained major damage and were towed from the scene. Bottorff, Robeson and a female juvenile passenger in the Forte were taken to Blessing Hospital. Robeson was cited for failure to yield the right of way while turning.
