Two arrested on Hancock County warrants for theft, burglary charges
Two Hancock County citizens were arrested this week on Hancock County warrants that were issued as a result of many hours of investigation into thefts and burglaries.
Wyatt J. Brown, 25, of Carthage, was arrested Sunday, Sept. 10, by Carthage Police Department officers and Hancock County deputies. Brown had a Hancock County warrant for his arrest with the charge of theft, a Class 3 felony. Bond was set at $50,000. Brown remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail. Additional charges are expected to be filed at a later date.
Kari J. Howe, 37, of Warsaw, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 11, by Hancock County deputies. Howe had a warrant for her arrest for burglary, a Class 2 felony, and theft, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond was set at $10,000. Howe posted the required bond and was released. Additional charges are possible at a later date.
