Two Hannibal teenagers charged with unlawful use of weapon after two houses were struck by gunfire

HANNIBAL, Mo. — Two Hannibal teenagers were arrested Friday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
Warrants warrants were issued Friday, Jan. 24, in the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County charging Jordan L. Mayo, 18, and Bryan J. Wisdom, 18. The warrants were a result of an investigation from Thursday, Jan. 23 when officers with the Hannibal Police Department were dispatched to the 1400 block of Vermont after a resident reported their house was struck by gunfire.
During the investigation, it was determined the gunfire was a result of an unrelated disturbance on South Arch, where another house had also been struck. Mayo and Wisdom were arrested on Friday without incident, and a firearm was recovered. No residents were injured.
Mayo and Wisdom remain in the Marion County Jail, being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
