Two men taken to Blessing Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after two-vehicle crash on Tuesday

QUINCY — Two Quincy men were transported to Blessing Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Department reports that deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident at 10:18 a.m. Tuesday at 43rd and Wismann Lane. Edward Welcher III, 34, of Quincy was traveling west in a 1995 Honda Civic on Wismann Lane and turned south on to 43rd Street in front of Robert Blake, 77, of Quincy, who was traveling east in a 2016 Nissan Frontier on Wismann Lane.

Blake’s vehicle overturned several times before coming to rest. Welcher was cited for failing to yield on a left turn.

The Adams County Ambulance and Tri-Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
