Two Rivers Regional Council consolidating two Quincy offices into one location at 133 N. 33rd

Two Rivers IL

QUINCY — The Two Rivers Regional Council (TRRC) of Public Officials recently announced it is consolidating two of its Quincy offices into a single, more accessible location at 133 N. 33rd. The new location is scheduled to open to the public on June 30.

A press release noted the change will not affect the locations of Community Action programs or WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) services, which will continue to operate from their current sites.

The new office will provide expanded space and upgraded facilities for TRRC to meet the needs of people and families throughout Adams, Brown, Hancock, Henderson, Knox, McDonough, Pike, Schuyler and Warren counties. This office will be home to workforce development services, rental assistance services, community development services and the administrative team.

WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) services will remain at the Quincy Workforce Center, 107 N. Third. TRRC officials have no plans to relocate these services. The public can continue to access employment and training support at that address without interruption.

The 33rd Street office will be closed to the public from June 18-30 to complete the move and set up the new space. However, the TRRC office at 706 Maine will remain open during this time to continue providing utility assistance and weatherization services.

TRRC supports the region with programs ranging from workforce development to housing assistance, energy assistance and community services to support economic and personal growth. For questions about the move or services offered by Two Rivers Regional Council, contact Olivia Vincent at ovincent@trrcopo.org or call (217) 224-8171, ext. 140.
