QUINCY – The 2022 United Way of Adams County ‘Starts with You’ campaign officially concluded at its annual meeting Thursday night at Town & Country Inn and Suites with an announced final total of $1,131,059 in pledges.

United Way invests in 18 Adams County partner agencies – all of whom rely on UWAC funding for their vital programs and services.

“To be able to keep our promise of adequately funding our partner agencies, amid such uncertain times, gives us even more reason to be thankful for the community we live in,” says Jenna Hull, Director of Development and Communications for United Way of Adams County. “Adams County should be proud of the fact that when our friends and neighbors needed us the most, the community once again stepped up in a big way. Raising over 1.1 million dollars  ensures essential community services may continue going forward, uninterrupted, for those who need it the most.”

The 2022 United Way of Adams County ‘Starts with You’ campaign was led by Bryan and Brooke Stokes of Quincy Recycle and Co-chaired by Tanner and Elisha Freiburg.
