Davis gets backing of local GOP establishment

Quincy and Adams County Republicans met in Washington Park to endorse Rodney Davis last Friday.

QUINCY — Congressman Rodney Davis received the endorsement of many Quincy and Adams County Republican leaders over the weekend.

Those who threw their support behind Davis include Adams County Board Member Raquel Sparrow, Quincy Mayor Mike Troup, State Senator Jil Tracy, Quincy Director of Administrative ServicesJeff Mays, State Representative Randy Frese, Adams County Republican Central Committee Chair Dave Bockhold, Former Adams County Board Chair Mike McLaughlin, and Adams County Board Vice Chair Bret Austin

Davis is running against a fellow Republican and incumbent, Congresswoman Mary Miller, in the June 28 Republican Primary in Illinois’ 15th Congressional District.
