Miller handily wins 15th District contest
After Congresswoman Mary Miller basically moved to Quincy during the run up to her overwhelming Republican primary win over Rodney Davis, she didn’t make it to Adams County much after that.
Turns out, she didn’t need to.
Miller has been declared the winner of the 15th District Congressional seat over Paul Lange of Mendon. With 92 percent of the vote in, Miller has about 71 percent of the vote to Lange’s roughly 29 percent.
Miller, who has pledged to put a district office in Quincy as it is the largest city in the newly reconfigured district, was strongly endorsed by former President Donald Trump, who made an appearance on her behalf at the Adams County Fairgrounds in June.
This will be Miller’s second term in Congress.
