Pritzker and Bailey to appear at candidate forum Wednesday
LEXINGTON, Ill. — Gov. JB Pritzker and Republican challenger Darren Bailey will meet at a farm in Lexington, Ill. today for a candidate forum hosted by the Illinois Agricultural Legislative Roundtable.
Lexington is in McLean County about 20 miles north of Bloomington/Normal just off Interstate 55.
The forum will feature questions submitted by IALR members and asked by the moderator, Illinois Farm Bureau President Richard Guebert Jr. It will also include U.S. Sen. Tammy Duckworth and her Republican challenger, Kathy Salvi.
Members of the media will have an opportunity to question the candidates as well following a 45-minute discussion with each of them.
The debate will be livestreamed by BlueRoomStream.com without password protection, with Duckworth’s discussion beginning at 10:30 a.m., Salvi’s at 11:30 a.m., Bailey’s at 1:15 p.m. and Pritzker’s at 2:15 p.m. with a break at midday.
