DOWNTOWN BUZZKILL: Friday night traffic stop at 6th and Maine yields mushrooms, cannabis and meth

QUINCY – On Friday just before 11:30 p.m., officers with the Quincy Police Department – Special Investigations Unit conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 6th Street and Maine, where officers found large quantities of mushrooms and cannabis.

The driver was Easton B. Glaves, 21, of Quincy and a passenger in the car was Aubrey J. Marshall, 25, of Paloma. During the stop officers located more than 40 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 57 grams of methamphetamine and more than 61 grams of cannabis.

Glaves and Marshall were taken into custody without incident and lodged just up Sixth Street to the Adams County Jail.

Glaves was arrested on the offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine Delivery 15-100 Grams and Possession of Cannabis in Motor Vehicle/Driver.

Marshall was arrested on the offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Manufacturing & Delivery of Cannabis and for a Failure to Appear Warrant out of Pike County, Ill. for Driving While License Suspended.
