‘His story is so laughable’: Panel of body language, human behavior experts ridicule Bliefnick’s narrative
QUINCY — To say that four men, who claim to be among the world’s top body language and behavioral analysis experts, are skeptical of Tim Bliefnick’s story about his innocence in the death of his wife would be a huge understatement.
“The Behavior Panel” is a weekly video — posted on YouTube — of four men analyzing body language and human behavior in videos of public interest. They have given their thoughts on videos of famous celebrities and criminals like President Joe Biden, Patsy Ramsey (the mother of JonBenet Ramsey), Meghan Markle (Prince Harry’s wife), Amber Heard (Johnny Depp’s ex-wife) and Oscar Pistorious (South African paralympic athlete convicted of double murder).
The group’s most recent video, posted April 17, is a two-hour review of Bliefnick’s interview with Muddy River News Editor David Adam that was published in February. The panel watched segments of the interview and then gave their opinion about what Bliefnick said.
An introductory paragraph on the YouTube page for the “The Behavior Panel” reads, “As a non-partisan team, their goal is to educate and entertain with their expertise in body language, behavioral analysis, communication, culture, deception detection, interrogation, and resistance to interrogation. Watch their analysis of interviews with true crime, entertainment, and political figures. Learn alongside them how to read body language, detect deception and analyze behavior to help keep yourself and those you love safe.”
What did they think of Bliefnick?
“(Bliefnick) wins the all-time acting award,” panelist Chase Hughes said.
“His story is so laughable,” panelist Mark Bowden said.
“The worst acting that’s ever been on YouTube,” panelist Scott Rouse said.
“The Behavior Panel” has more than 1 million subscribers. The panel also is occasionally featured on “The Dr. Phil Show.”
Bowden is a body language expert and communication keynote speaker. He has been named Global Gurus’ No. 1 body language professional three times.
Hughes is the founder and CEO of Applied Behavior Research. He is a leading behavior expert, and author of a bestselling book for three years on persuasion, influence and behavior profiling called “The Ellipsis Manual.”
Rouse is one of the top behavior analysts and body language experts in the world. He holds multiple certificates in advanced interrogation training and has been trained alongside the FBI, Secret Service, U.S. Military Intelligence and the Department of Defense.
Greg Hartley is the fourth member of the panel. His expertise as an interrogator first earned him honors with the U.S. Army. More recently, it has drawn organizations such as the Defense Intelligence Agency, Navy SEALS, Federal law enforcement agencies, and national TV to seek his insights.
