QUINCY — Wow Bao opened its doors in Quincy—and it’s hiding in plain sight.

Tucked inside Z!Eats like a delicious little secret, Wow Bao is serving up bold Asian fusion flavors with a spotlight on bao buns. These soft, steamy pockets are stuffed with everything from Korean BBQ to spicy chicken and veggie options, making each bite a perfect punch of flavor. Whether you’re craving something quick or something adventurous, this bao stop hits the spot.

Destiny Koehler is an employee at Z!Eats and was happy to tell us all about the Bao.

“We serve Asian Cuisine that consists of bao, potstickers, soup dumplings, fried rice, egg rolls and a line up of chicken over rice bowls! Some of the favorites are the cheeseburger bao, potstickers, egg rolls, and potstickers.”

Koehler said the opening date for the Wow Bao was on March 5, and that their storefront has ranked as the number one seller in the state on some weeks. So maybe not a food speakeasy.

Wow Bao describes themselves as an established omni-channel brand. The storefronts exist in retail partnerships, grocery stores, and airports. The Wow Bao company has been around for twenty years. The first location was located in Chicago’s Water Tower Place on August 22, 2003. The company expanded by embracing a Dark Kitchen focus as well as expanding into consumer packaged goods. The dark kitchen concept is utilizing existing kitchen spaces to deliver food through online platforms.

The local Wow Bao is located at 3428 Broadway Street inside of Z!Eats, formally know as Zoup!. Their hours are Monday – Sunday 10:30 AM – 9:00PM. The menu is a QR code located at the front of the store. It is also available through Door Dash services.

Quincy, your lunch just got a glow up. Pay at the counter and take a bao.
