QUINCY — The Chaddock Board has announced the appointment of Matt Obert as the
Interim President/CEO of the Chaddock Family of Organizations.

The decision comes following the death of President/CEO Debbie Reed, who passed on Jan. 4 after a battle with cancer. Matt Obert has been with Chaddock for over 16 years, serving in various administrative roles, and worked closely with Reed.

The move “reflects the board’s confidence in (Obert’s) ability to lead the organization
effectively during a pivotal time,” according to a news release. “His deep understanding of
Chaddock’s mission and his proven leadership skills make him exceptionally suited for this important
role. “The Chaddock Board has complete trust in Mr. Obert’s capabilities to guide us through this
challenging period. We are confident that under his leadership, Chaddock will continue to uphold and advance our mission of supporting children and families.”

Obert has served in various capacities including Director of Quality Assurance, Director of
Operations, Facilities and Technology, and most recently as Executive Director of Chaddock
Attachment and Trauma Services and Vice President of the Chaddock Organization.
