One-day narcotics operation on Wednesday leads to arrests of 14 people, 12 from Quincy
QUINCY — A one-day narcotics operation was conducted Wednesday, May 15, in a joint effort between the West Central Illinois Task Force, Adams County Sheriff’s Department, Quincy Police Department and the Illinois State Police.
The operation’s primary focus was to target people who distribute and possess narcotics in the Quincy and Adams County area. Fourteen people were arrested.
The following people from Quincy were arrested.
- Daxton P. Allen, 24, on an Adams County warrant for three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- Caitlin R. Dietiker, 24, on an Adams County warrant for delivery of a controlled substance (heroin).
- Robin R. Wilson, 39, on an Adams County warrant for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine between 15 and 100 grams.
- Johannes T. Holdiman, 27, on an Adams County warrant for manufacturing/delivering cannabis between 30 and 500 grams and felon possession/use of weapon/firearm.
- Adam L. Stehl, 43, on an Adams County warrant for delivery of methamphetamine between 15 and 100 grams.
- Larry D. Evans, 59, on an Adams County warrant for delivery of a controlled substance (heroin).
- James R. Milsap, 61, on an Adams County warrant for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine).
- Stacee M. Wilkins, 28, on an Adams County warrant for possession of methamphetamine.
- Ryanna L. Kelley, 26, on a new charge of possession of methamphetamine.
- Deacon M. Stark, 20, was issued a citation for possession of ammunition without a FOID card.
- Valeria G. Logsdon, 41, on an Adams County warrant for unlawful use of a blackjack/knife.
- Issac W. Hilderbrand, 38, for an Adams County warrant for violation of sex offender registration.
During the detail, a trooper with the Illinois State Police assigned to the narcotics detail conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Fifth and Lind. The occupants inside the vehicle attempted to resist and fled on foot. All subjects were taken into custody. During a search of the vehicle and occupants, three firearms were found, including one that was reported stolen from Troy, Mo.
As a result of the traffic stop, the following people were arrested:
- Austen L. McKinzie, 18, of Jacksonville for possession of a stolen firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
- One juvenile was taken into custody for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
