One man facing attempted murder charges, another man jailed after stabbing incident on Friday

QUINCY — Two Quincy men are in the Adams County Jail after a man was stabbed Friday night.

Quincy Police Department officers responded at 11:12 a.m. Friday to 1005 Broadway for a report of a stabbing. Once they arrived on the scene, officers located a male with a stab wound to his chest in the parking lot. 

Officers were informed that suspects involved in the incident were still in the area. Officers located Dylan M. Test, 20, of 1530 Monroe and Heaton S. Brothers, 19, of 1842 Maple, and they were taken into custody. 

After further investigation, Test was lodged in the Adams County Jail and charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery and mob action. Brothers was lodged in the jail and charged with mob action, aggravated battery and threatening a public official. 

The stabbing victim is in the intensive care unit at Blessing Hospital.
