Quincy’s Freedom Fest kicked off Thursday afternoon in Clat Adams Park on the riverfront. Several local businesses set up booths. Several bands performed, and visitors had their choice of several Fourth of July treats. The festival also featured a car and bike show, games for children and a reading of the Declaration of Independence. The evening ended with a fireworks show. Samantha Carmean captured some of the activity in the park on Thursday.
