Quincy man arrested for breaking into Chelsea through the back door; faces meth and burglary charges

QUINCY — Adams County Sheriff’s deputes arrested a Quincy man Sunday following an early morning break-in Saturday at the Chelsea Adult Superstore.
Just Before 5 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an alarm at Chelsea, 4804 Gardner Expressway. Upon arrival, deputies found the rear entrance had significant damage and appeared someone had broken into the business. Pry marks were also located at the front door.
After viewing the surveillance footage, it was found that a masked subject had attempted to break into the business and fled on foot when the alarm went off prior to officers arrival.
An investigation took place and led to a suspect named Gary C. Quenon. On Sunday, Quenon, 47, was located at his residence at 4323 Harvey and taken into custody.
Quenon was lodged in the Adams County Jail on a warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine along with new charges of Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Criminal Damage, and Disorderly Conduct.
