QUINCY — The Quincy School Board will meet Friday morning at 8 a.m. to consider what is labeled as the “Denman Action Plan”.

The Quincy School District has been under a barrage of questions and concerns from the public about the conduct of two physical education teachers at Denman Elementary School who admitted to giving birthday spankings to students and taping students’ mouths shut as punishment for talking.

The School Board will take questions and comments from the public before going into closed session. The discussion could be among any of the subjects listed in paragraph 5 of the meeting agenda and paragraph 6 says the board will consider and take action on what is discussed.

That is followed by what should be an explanation of the “Denman Action Plan”, before a final discussion and consideration of a personnel issue.
