Quincy teen arrested for intent to deliver meth, possessing a stolen gun
Just after 10 p.m. Saturday, a Quincy Police officer pulled over a 1999 Oldsmobile traveling west on Maine near Eighth Street after the officer observed a traffic violation.
The officer pulled over the car at Eighth and York and the driver was Easton Glaves, 18, of 1023 Ohio, Quincy.
During the search, officers initially found suspected cannabis and a large amount of cash. A further search found a loaded .40 caliber handgun and white tablets, which were tested for and turned out to be methamphetamine.
An investigation determined the gun was reported stolen from Breckenridge Hills, Missouri in 2019.
Glaves was arrested and lodged in the Adams County Jail and faces charges of Armed Violence, Possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, Possession of a stolen firearm, and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
