QUINCY – RiverFest Music Festival is moving from Fort Madison, Iowa, to Quincy this summer and will be held August 4-6.

The Fort Madison riverfront is under construction, and RiverFest organizers made the decision to move the event down the Mississippi.

Riverfest has been a staple of the Fort Madison community for 30 years. The music festival has drawn thousands of people to hear bands from around the country and take part in other activities on the banks of the Mississippi River.

Headliners for the three nights of the 2022 festival will be alt-rock group Badflower, country artist Chris Cagle and singer/songwriter Tommy Vext. Also in the lineup are the rock groups 10 Years, Through Fire, Any Given Sin, Stars in Toledo and Etched in Embers, along with country artists Callista Clark and Lily Rose. Ghost of Judas, The Red Lips and The Boys also will perform.
