Task Force makes multiple drug related arrests this week
QUINCY – On Wednesday, the Quincy Police Department in a coordinated effort with the Illinois State Police, Adams County Sheriff’s Department, and West Central Illinois Task Force conducted a narcotics detail. The narcotics detail was aimed at targeting the possession and distribution of narcotics in Quincy and Adams County. The detail provided an increased number of Police Officers patrolling the city. During the detail, the following individuals were arrested:
- Thomas L Kealen, 39, Quincy, was arrested and lodged on several outstanding Adams County warrants for Fleeing to Elude, Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle, Possession of Controlled Substance, Obstructing Justice and an Illinois Department of Corrections Parole warrant.
- Lacee J Blevins, 41, Quincy, was arrested and lodged on outstanding Pike County, Illinois warrants. During the arrest, Blevins was also arrested and lodged on new charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine 15 grams – 100 grams.
- Leonard D Sims, 47, Quincy, was arrested and lodged on an outstanding Adams County warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine. During the arrest, Sims was also arrested and lodged on a new charge of Possession of Methamphetamine.
- Michael R Morgan, 41, Quincy, was arrested and lodged on an outstanding Adams County warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine.
- Adam L Stehl, 43, Quincy, was arrested and lodged in the Adams County jail on a new charge of Possession of Methamphetamine.
- Terrill D Phillips, 45, Quincy, was arrested and lodged in the Adams County jail for an Adams County warrant for Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer. During the arrest, Phillips was arrested and lodged on new charges of Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer, Aggravated Assault to Police Officer, Threatening a Public Official and Resisting Arrest. During the arrest, Phillips was violently resisting arrest by attacking officers and threatening the arresting officers.
- Adams County Sheriff’s Departments Special Response Team executed a search warrant in Fowler, Illinois on behalf of the West Central Illinois Task Force. During the execution of the search warrant officers located over 550 grams of methamphetamine and 6 firearms. Dennis L Hernandez, 61, Fowler, was subsequently arrested and lodged in the Adams County jail on charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver 400 grams – 900 grams of methamphetamine and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
