The City of Quincy wants to remind people they need new stickers on their recycling bins next week.

If you sit out a bin that does not have the new blue sticker on in come Tuesday, the bins will be picked up by Central Service crews. The old stickers expire Monday.

Monday is also Memorial Day, so Quincy City Hall and the Adams County Courthouse are closed. The weekly Quincy City Council meeting will be Tuesday at 7 pm.

Quincy’s Central Services will also be closed on Monday so there will not be garbage and recycling pick up on that day. The route normally picked up on Monday will be picked up Tuesday, along with the normal Tuesday routes. Yard waste recycling done by Evans Recycling will take still place on Monday.

City buses will be operating on their Holiday Schedule on Monday as well.
