Deadline Monday to submit reservations for Salvation Army’s free community Christmas dinner

QUINCY — The deadline to sign up for the Salvation Army’s free community Christmas dinner is quickly approaching. The reservation deadline is Monday, Dec. 18.

When calling to make a reservation, attendees will need to make a reservation for 11 a.m. or 11:45 a.m. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are highly recommended. Shut-ins will need to provide name, phone number and address for delivery.

The meal, which will be served at The Kroc Center, 405 Vermont, will consist of ham, cheesy potatoes, corn, dinner rolls and dessert.

Anyone wishing to make a monetary donation towards the meal may mail a check to The Salvation Army at P.O. Box 75, Quincy, Ill., 62306-0075.
