Letter to the Editor: Watching ‘Reagan’ movie is duplicate of what’s going on now in this country

My wife and I just got home from the movie “Reagan.” What is happening now in this country is a stark duplicate of the years just before and during Ronald Reagan’s presidency.  I would recommend that everyone go see it.

During President Jimmy Carter’s term, inflation got out of hand, interest rates soared, unrest in the world increased, the farm economy tanked (I know because I was one of them). Does this sound familiar

Ronald Reagan won the presidency in a landslide. He ended the Cold War, drastically improved the economy and strengthened our military. In other words, he straightened out Carter’s mess. 

I pray to God that former President Trump can repeat the victory that Reagan received. Trump already has proven he’s capable to “Make America Great Again,” and he can do it again. If anyone thinks Kamala Harris can straighten out the mess that Joe Biden (with Kamala by his side) got us into, better put your thinking cap on. All you have to do is listen to her answers about the economy and illegal Southern border crossings. 

She is not capable of answering any questions logically. Do you think she can keep us out of a war?

Think seriously before you go to the polls.
