Letter to the Editor: Troup dedicated to making Quincy better place for all of us to live and work

I strongly urge my fellow Quincy citizens to vote for Mayor Mike Troup on April 1. During the past four years, Mike has put in extraordinary effort to lead Quincy through a period of transformation and growth.
At the heart of his leadership, Mike is a family man with deep roots in Quincy. Born and raised here, he chose to raise his children in the same community because he believes in its potential. His strong connection to Quincy is not just professional, it’s personal, and it drives his determination to see our city succeed for generations to come.
When Mike took office, he was faced with significant challenges, particularly in addressing the city’s infrastructure needs. Today, we are seeing improvements in the form of essential repairs and long-awaited projects. These advancements are the outcome of thoughtful planning and effective collaboration with City Hall staff to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
Beyond the technical side of leadership, Mike remains active in the community. He regularly supports local businesses, attends community events and takes time to meet with the people he serves. His focus has always been on improving the quality of life for everyone in Quincy.
Mike wants what’s best for his hometown. Whether it’s improving infrastructure, supporting business development or enhancing the capabilities of our police and fire departments, his leadership is driving noticeable improvements. He is dedicated to making Quincy a better place for all of us to live and work.
With a strong history of achievements and a clear vision for Quincy’s future, I am confident that Mike is the right person to continue leading our city. His connection to the community is clear, and his plans for growth, safety and prosperity are on track.
Let’s continue the positive momentum and support a dedicated leader who has already made a difference and is focused on Quincy’s future.
