Registration deadline for Salvation Army community Thanksgiving dinner is Friday
QUINCY — The deadline to sign up for the Salvation Army’s free community Thanksgiving Dinner is Friday, Nov. 18. When calling to make a reservation, attendees will need to make a reservation for either 11a.m. or 11:45 a.m. Shut-ins will need to provide name, number of meals and address for delivery.
The meal, which will be served at The Kroc Center, 405 Vermont, will consist of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the trimmings.
Donations of prepackaged baked goods will be accepted at The Kroc Center from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23. Anyone wishing to make a monetary donation towards the meal may mail a check to The Salvation Army at P.O. Box 75, Quincy, IL 62306-0075.
