Salvation Army of Quincy raises $460,756 during Christmas campaign
QUINCY — The Salvation Army of Quincy recently announced the successful completion of its 2024 Christmas campaign, led by chairs Mike and Jean Buckley and their daughters Sara Terwelp and Megan Costigan.
A total of $460,756 was raised, exceeding the goal by more than $20,000. These funds helped provide more than 600 hot meals during our community Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, along with 1,200 Christmas food boxes to families in need.
These funds will continue to support essential programs and services that benefit individuals and families across Adams, Brown and Pike counties throughout the year.
In addition to celebrating the campaign’s success, The Salvation Army recognize the winners of several special campaign challenges:
- Captain Kettle Mascot Challenge: Quincy Notre Dame High School
- Golden Bell Award: Quincy Noon Kiwanis
- Ring for Bling Contest: Karla Fessler
