Salvation Army, Quincy Noon Kiwanis Club to offer activity day at Camp Saukenauk on Thursday

QUINCY — Quincy Noon Kiwanis Club and The Salvation Army have again partnered to offer the Ken Bigelow Kid’s Day at Camp Saukenauk for an afternoon of summer fun. The kids’ day will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 26, for ages 5-12. A refundable $5 deposit is due at the time of registration.
In a press release, Capt. Linnea Forney said, “Every child deserves the chance to build summer memories that last a lifetime. Through the partnership between the Quincy Noon Kiwanis Club and The Salvation Army, we’re making sure no child misses out on the joy of Camp Saukenauk’s adventures.”
Activities will include swimming, row boating, fishing, hiking, snacks, drinks and a cookout.
Transportation from The Kroc Center will be provided. Participants are asked to be at The Kroc Center by 8 a.m. for departure.
