Saints Avenue Buffet and Grill gives $1,000 to Salvation Army of Hannibal after Thanksgiving promotion
HANNIBAL, Mo. — Saints Avenue Buffet and Grill recently made a $1,000 donation to the Salvation Army of Hannibal. The establishment pledged to donate $1 from every meal bought on Thanksgiving Day.
In a press release, Chad Douglas, donor relations coordinator at The Salvation Army of Hannibal, said, “We are thankful for this generous donation. During the holiday season, the need is greater than ever in our community. With this donation, we’ll be able to help families pay utility bills, put food on the table and provide Christmas gifts for children.”
The restaurant has decided to extend its philanthropic efforts by donating $1 from all proceeds of the Christmas meal scheduled for Dec. 25. The festive menu, available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., promises a traditional Christmas experience for patrons.
Every dollar donated to The Salvation Army of Hannibal directly supports families in the counties of Marion, Ralls, Lewis, Monroe and Shelby.
