As a Republican candidate for mayor, I look forward to comparing and contrasting my vision for the future of Quincy with the Democrat/independent candidate, Linda Moore, and the current administration as the election process unfolds. I look forward to comparing and contrasting my fiscally conservative record, commitment to fixing our city streets and promoting tourism within the city of Quincy with all candidates.

However, the first priority is to win the Republican nomination on Feb. 25, 2025.  Quincy needs drastic and immediate change in city government and change that ends the chaotic situations we have experienced with the current administration.

Obviously, I am surprised a former Democratic city office holder, selected by the Democratic Central Committee to fill an unexpired term and ran as a Democrat in the last municipal election and did not complete the term in office, is now seeking another city-wide office. I assure those who honor me with their vote that I will serve the full term as your mayor.

I will focus on why Quincy is a great place to live and to raise a family.  Having been elected as a 6th Ward Alderman as a Republican from 2009 to 2017, I understand how to work collaboratively to accomplish the city’s goals. My experience as a Republican alderman gives me the insight and experience to create an environment within the city that is productive and rewarding for all.

I will welcome alternative views, be accessible to all, provide respectful and determined leadership and communicate with other elected officials. I will work to reach a consensus that betters our city. I will provide a clear vision, straightforward leadership, communication and a common-sense approach to all city issues for city staff and officials and most importantly the people I represent, the citizens of Quincy.

I’m more than ready to accept the challenge of being Quincy’s next mayor. The Dan Brink administration will serve every citizen of Quincy as your mayor.  I pledge to work with and listen to anyone with the same goal of uniting this city and moving forward.  I’m confident that the Dan Brink administration’s goals, leadership and vision will provide the best path forward for our great city.
