I am pleased to write this letter of support and recommendation for Barry Louderman for mayor of Hannibal.

I have worked side by side with Barry under his leadership in planning and zoning. In those years, I’ve seen Barry work hand in hand with business owners, entrepreneurs and developers with tangible results. That type of leadership and guidance sets Barry apart. Not only does he have true experience of bringing businesses to Hannibal, but he also has real experience working with Hannibal’s citizens through his years as 4th Ward councilman and various other committees.

One of the most effective ways a city can grow and prosper is by bringing the public and private sectors together.  Barry created a program in our 4th Ward that rejuvenated neighborhoods by bringing the city and private investors together.  This program not only has saved the City of Hannibal untold amounts of money but created opportunities for investors and future homeowners alike. This is the type of partnership and leadership Hannibal needs.

Barry also shares what most people in Hannibal believe. Hannibal is a conservative city, which not only mirrors the state of Missouri but more importantly Jefferson City.  This is evident by our State Sen. Cindy O’Laughlin’s public endorsement.  For Hannibal to move forward, we must have a mayor who represents the same values as our leadership in Jefferson City.

With his vast experience in city government, the creation of proven and effective programs, and his conservative values, Barry is the right choice for the next mayor of Hannibal.  Barry is for all of Hannibal, not just Main Street.

Sincerely,

Brad Walden
Hannibal, Mo.
