Letter to the Editor: Pilkington knew how to treat people and talk to people with different views, ideas
This letter is from Harold Stuckwisch of Warsaw, Ill.
If I were one of the persons who had to pick who the chief of police would be in the City of Quincy, it would definitely be (Deputy Chief) Shannon Pilkington.
I worked around him years ago when I was employed by his father, Lynn Pilkington, in the construction field. His dad hired him off and on to help out. This young man definitely knew how to treat people and talk to people with different views and ideas about life. He has a great attitude and had a goal about being a police officer during several times while I was working around him.
He would definitely be my choice.
Harold G. Stuckwisch (retired carpenter of 50 years)
Warsaw, Ill.
